A PRESENTATION QUIZ


METAS:

  1. To create two slides containing 2 objects, animals, people, places, or activities.
  2. To use the slides to create sentences comparing those objects.

INSTRUCCIONES

1. Log on to Google Docs. You will create a "New Presentation". Call it: lastnamespanishyourclasscolor.comparisonsslide

2. Here are some acceptable open-source sites where you are permitted to find your pictures. DO NOT USE GOOGLE IMAGES!!!
You may also use spanish.typeit.org to help you with accents!





3. Copy, save and paste your TWO images on to each slide. Try the first 2 categories on Flickr Creative Commons. GIF images don't currently work on Google docs Slides.

4. You MUST cite your sources ~ either on the same page as your pics or on a different slide. If you're not sure how to do this, use easybib.

5. Write a sentence in Spanish comparing your two pictures. Put this sentence on your slide.

  • In the FIRST slide, you will use "More" or "Less" and "Than".
  • In the SECOND slide, you will use one of the following: "As much as", "as many as", "older", "younger", "better", OR "worse". NOT "more" or "less".

6. Share your slide with me at: snesbitt@hershey.k12.pa.us.

7. This is an individual task!
DO NOT USE ANY ONLINE DICTIONARY, TRANSLATION SITE, NOR YOUR NOTES.

8. You will have this class period to work on the slide.

TRANSLATION OF A STORY

This worked well when I was out of school, and the sub didn't have access to my computer nor my flip charts on ActiveInspire. The students made a new copy of the document, translated and shared with me.
